Book Description

When Jane Austen died in 1817, she left behind the beginnings of a novel that she had entitled Sanditon. The story is set in the seaside village of Sanditon, a name chosen to fictionalize the coastal village of Sidmouth, where Jane Austen had spent some time. Sanditon is a delightful story about a steady young woman who learns to drop her overbearing sensibilities and yield to an affection that she has long striven against.
